Open Mic Comedy – Show Up, Sign Up, Stand Up!
Looking for a stand-up comedy night you don’t have to book weeks in advance? Free For All is exactly that — a fast, no-nonsense open mic where every comic can grab five minutes on stage just by showing up.
AUDIENCES:The show is free to attend and un-ticketed - just turn up and watch the chaos unfold. You'll see an exciting combination of new, developing, and established acts - making it an unmissable experience for comedy fans in Edinburgh. Plus every show is hosted by two fantastic, experienced acts - so you're always in safe hands.
There are no breaks, just back-to-back stand-up all night long. You can come and go as you please and our bar is open throughout the night - offering a wide selection of refreshments (or a quick breather).
ACTS:Here’s how it works: Register in person between 7PM and 8PM, and if your name is called, you’ve got 5 minutes — no questions asked. But if you’re not in the room? Tough luck, we’re moving on!
Think of it like a gong show, but instead of getting yanked off stage, you'll hear the dulcet tones of The Fratellis when you've overrun.

Can Kenney save his hot summer party, and his frat at the same time?

Social politics. Generational divides. A birthday celebration gone awry. When Michelle and Todd Milne (and Todd’s outspoken mother Irene) welcome their son Cyrus and his girlfriend Amy for a visit, the revelations that unfold could tear the family apart. In turns hilarious and heartbreaking, The Watch List is a gripping look at what happens when idealism crashes into real life.

Every day, Nicky wakes up with knots in her stomach and worries in her brain. While most kids can’t wait for recess so they can hit the playground, anxious Nicky would rather spend her time safely hidden away in the school’s sick room with her Big Book of Birds. In the sick room, Nicky can enjoy her routine in peace and quiet – but when Milo, a rambunctious boy with diabetes, comes barreling into her life, Nicky’s peace and quiet turns to chaos! At first, these polar opposites’ worlds collide, but as time goes on, cautious Nicky and adventurous Milo both come to discover they may have more to learn from each other than they think.
